Connect Windsurf to Ecobot

Windsurf's Cascade agent supports MCP servers via the MCP tab in Settings. Once added, Ecobot tools are available in every Cascade conversation.

Requirements

  • Windsurf latest stable release.

Setup steps

  1. 1

    Open Cascade MCP settings

    In Windsurf, open Settings → Cascade → MCP servers.

    Add the Ecobot server

    Add a new HTTP server and paste the URL.

    Reload and try a prompt

    Reload the window and ask Cascade: "Use ecobot to summarize the OHWM indicators most relevant to arid stream identification."

Notes & caveats

  • Windsurf may prompt for approval on the first tool invocation.
