Connect Cursor to Ecobot

Cursor supports MCP servers natively in Settings → Features → MCP. Add Ecobot once and its tools become available to the Cursor agent for any project.

Requirements

  • Cursor 0.45 or newer.

Setup steps

    Open MCP settings

    In Cursor, open Settings → Features → MCP and click Add new MCP server.

    Configure the Ecobot server

    Choose transport type SSE / HTTP and paste the URL.

    Verify

    Restart Cursor if prompted, open the chat panel, and confirm "ecobot" appears under Available Tools.

Notes & caveats

  • Cursor asks for confirmation before each tool call by default. You can allow-list Ecobot in Settings if you want it to run automatically.
