Connect Claude to Ecobot
Claude has the most complete MCP support of any major assistant. Once you add Ecobot as a custom connector, Claude can call every tool the server exposes — search, permitting context, customer segment lookups, and citation-first regulatory queries.

- Claude Desktop (macOS/Windows) or claude.ai in a desktop browser (iOS/Android apps inherit the connector once it is added).
- Any paid Claude plan (Pro, Team, or Enterprise). Free accounts cannot add custom connectors.
Setup steps

Open Settings
In Claude Desktop or claude.ai, open Settings and choose Connectors.

Add a custom connector
Click "Add custom connector" and enter the Ecobot MCP URL.

Leave authentication as None
The Ecobot MCP endpoint is public and read-only. No API key is required.

Save and start a new chat
Save the connector, open a new chat, and confirm "Ecobot" appears in the tools list. Try: "Use Ecobot to find the OHWM indicators for the Arid West."
Notes & caveats
- Connectors added on desktop or web sync to your Anthropic account and appear automatically in the iOS/Android Claude apps.
- Team and Enterprise workspaces may require an admin to allow custom connectors before individual users can add them.
